It is directly affected by the country's economy.

The Indian education system is the worst education system. It is a lot of theoretical syllabi but not think about practical knowledge skills.

What does India rank in the education system?

According to the 2015 release of the Education Index, India stands at 131 out of 188 countries. then you can understand our education system by this ranking.
The index is calculated based on two statistical parameters. Mean Years of Education index measures the average number of years of education received by the people of a country.

Stages of Education

2) higher education

"School Education:
School is the initial stage of education for all students. But there is not provide education that is expected for the future of a student . School faculty do not focus on skill-based education.

Three-level of school education

1) Primary

Higher Education:
1) Under-Graduate/ Bachelor’s level education:
The under-graduate course i.e. the Bachelor's degree is obtained after three years of study in the case of arts, science, and commerce. Undergraduate courses leading to a first degree (bachelor’s degree) in professional subjects like Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy are of a longer duration ranging from four to five and a half years.

5) Certificate and Diploma programs:  In addition to the degree programs, a number of diploma and certificate programs are also available in universities.

6) Distance Education:  Open and Distance Learning (ODL) system is a method of learning in which teachers and students do not need to be present at the same place at the same time and therefore is flexible in terms of modalities and timing of teaching and learning.

Why do we need to change the Education system?

The Indian education system is the worst education system because of same syllabus & the same way of teaching from 100 of years. It should be changed to provide a better education for all.
The education system in India is failing because of more intrinsic reasons. This is systematic faults that do not let our demand for good education translate into a great marketplace with excellent education services.

Our education system is only focused on marks or grading not focus on skill-based education. So this reason students not focuses on creative thinking.
This reason that more people unemployment after complete education.

"Main Reason tell about our Education system

(1) The education system suffer from top-rated quality programs offered by Indian colleges.
(2) Poor quality of teachers. Teaching is not considered an option in a profitable career in India. Most of them end up in this career as they could not find jobs anywhere.
(3) The old syllabus taught in most of the colleges.
(4) Lack of state-of-art infrastructure in the top colleges & University

Some Improvement Point for Change Education System

1)  Focus on skill based education
Our education system is gearing towards teaching and testing knowledge at every level as opposed to teaching skills.

2) Reward & Awards For creativity, original thinking, research and innovation

Our testing and marking systems need to be built to recognize original contributions, in form of creativity, problem solving, valuable original research and innovation. If we could do this successfully Indian education system would have changed overnight.
Memorising is no learning; the biggest flaw in our education system is perhaps that it incentivizes memorizing above originality.

3) Get smarter people to teach

Thousands of terrible teachers all over India are wasting valuable time of young children every day all over India
It is high time to encourage a breed of superstar teachers. The internet has created this possibility – the performance of a teacher now need not be restricted to a small classroom. Now the performance of a teacher can be opened up for the world to see. The better teacher will be more popular, and acquire more students. That’s the way of the future.
We need leaders, entrepreneurs in teaching positions, not salaried people trying to hold on to their mantle.

4) Implement massive technology infrastructure for education

India needs to embrace internet and technology if it has to teach all of its huge population, the majority of which is located in remote villages.

Now that we have computers and internet, it makes sense to invest in technological infrastructure that will make access to knowledge easier than ever.
